Carbide end mill perfectly adapted for wood. Straight edges do not raise the material, so the angles at surface does not crack. This is probably the only type of end mills ideal for polywood and laminated wood, because the thin upper layer does not crack.
Less suitable for plastics and non-ferrous metals as a straight edges cleans bad. Because of length it strongly vibrates and does not tolerate large lateral loads.
